Why not getting some untreated, unpainted, safe rattan balls, and stick little bits of pecans inside. The hamster will need to use its little paws and teeth to get the treat out, which will keep it busy for a good while! Be careful they don't injure themselves with the sharp edges of the rattan ball once it is getting chewed.

Toilet Rolls

The same kind of toilet roll can be cut in large strips, then put around each other to build a cube.

Put some Pecan inside, wrapped in safe paper if you want, and give the whole thing to your hamster to destroy, and eat the content at its leisure.

Just make sure to precut the rolls if you have a Syrian Hamster, they can get on the chubby side and get stuck!

It would be more like a savoury tart then, and you are more in control of the ingredients used. That way you can still enjoy sharing your own favourite cake or snack with your little furry friend.

Just remember that a hamster will be just as happy with his raw Pecan, and there's no real need to give him a slice of cake – however quickly they would rush to stuff their cheeks.
